First refit and re-imagined in 2023 for the SailHamptons fleet, and since continually upgraded, Cosmos is a lovely option for casual trips and wonderful Hamptons Sailing. For large-scale events requiring a heightened level of catering and service, we always recommend Schooner Luna as an alternative.

She boasts exquisite pampering lounge space on her equally sized side-decks. Every charter includes a great array of lovely water toys including a swim mat, swim floats, and a paddle-board. Cosmos offers morning, afternoon and sunset sails. She is perfect for a lunch trip to your favorite Shelter Island Restaurant. Cosmos is the centerpiece to our weekday morning Yoga and Wellness program in partnership with Evolveast Yoga.
Cosmos is perfect for that casual sail with or without a swim stop. She makes for a wonderful afternoon or sunset with a picnic aboard. While great for larger groups, Cosmos is intimate and lovely for smaller groups (even just two). Always Crewed by an experienced professional Captain and Deck/Steward, we ensure every Cosmos charter is a sublime experience.
Cosmos has lovely galley-ware, serving-ware, cups, plates, cutlery, and everything needed for your occasion. We always provide water and plenty of iced cooler space. Guests are always welcome to bring what they want for prepared food and drink. We also have scrumptious catering options we are happy to recommend and have aboard waiting for your charter.

Cosmos has an easy to use swim ladder and is perfect for a swim stop. With her shallow draft, Cosmos fits at some of the most beautiful secluded spots around Shelter Island Sound. There are swim floats, a swim-pad, and a paddle-board to be used and enjoyed.
We are elated to have Captain Jesse Tengco as our lead captain on Cosmos for Hamptons Sailing. Jesse has held a US Master Captain’s credential for over a decade. He comes to Sag Harbor with extensive captaining experience throughout the Eastern-Caribbean. He has captained catamarans, sailing yachts, and powerboats throughout his years. Jesse is a true sailor, yachtsman, and adventurer. He grew up messing around in boats in Key West. Jesse loves spending his free time finding the best wind to enjoy kite-boarding around the Hamptons and Montauk.
Always joined by one of our professional deck stewards, Jesse brings a Caribbean flavor of fun to his exceptional service. A true professional, Jesse takes his responsibility seriously to give you a truly beautiful sail.
Cosmos maintains USCG certification and is fully insured for your passenger count. We can include the best professional crew in every charter without relying on “bareboat” crew and shady “demise contracts.” Our crews abide by the highest standards, participate regularly in safety drills, and are trained in first aid/cpr. Our boats belong to the very small percentage of Hamptons Charter Boats that hold USCG Inspected Passenger Vessel qualifications. They comply to stringent passenger vessel regulations and undergo regular extensive U.S. Coast Guard safety checks for commercial use.
