Captain Toby Stull and the “Hamptons Dog 2016” Bamboo
Sally is one of our top bartenders aboard and also works on bookings and logistics.

SailHamptons has assembled an extraordinary crew of highly experienced and dedicated yachting and service professionals. Outside yachting experience, our crew also holds extensive hospitality experience. We’ve been bartenders, wait staff, stewards and chefs. We pride ourselves on being the most fun, professional and dedicated crew always focused on making every charter outstanding for our guests.

Our crew each submit to a US Coast Guard compliant drug testing program and practice regular safety drills aboard all vessels.

Captain Toby Stull is the Owner and Lead Captain of the Schooner Luna. Toby began sailing literally before he could walk and has worked aboard boats most of his life. Toby started sailing in the East End during his youth and brought his first charter to Sag Harbor in 2009. Besides his Master Captain’s license and professional maritime endorsements, Toby graduated Cum Laude from Boston University School of Law and practiced maritime law and litigation for over a decade. As his charter company in Sag Harbor grew, Toby left his legal career in 2014 to focus full-time on his passions of ocean sailing and chartering. Each winter, Toby can be found Chartering his 57′ French Sailing Yacht “Starlight” in the Virgin Islands and throughout the Caribbean.

Captain Leland Muller is Lead Captain on our Hinckley Picnic Boat, Soleil, and a primary Captain of our Trimaran, Cosmos. An East Hampton native with strong family roots throughout the South Fork, Leland has extensive local knowledge of the East End waters. After working with Captain Toby as a Part-Time Mate many years ago and teaching sailing at Breakwater Yacht Club, Leland honed his Maritime skills for several years as a mate aboard large private yachts. When not speeding Soleil to Duryea’s or sailing around Shelter Island, Leland loves his clamming and hunting for arrowheads throughout the East End.

Captain Darrah Hollenbach is a Captain and Senior Mate/Steward. Darrah has an extensive yachting industry background as a Captain, Mate and Chef. She has sailed the oceans in some of the finest sailboats anywhere. Darrah also benefits from an education in Yachting Systems at the International Yacht Restoration School. Notably, Darrah received a coveted scholarship to attend. Like Captain toby, Darrah is rarely without her faithful little dog (“Bear”) by her side.

Dylan Greene is our Chief Mate/Steward and so much more. When you call, text or email you’re often times chatting with Dylan. He helps with the logistics of bookings, catering and just about everything else. An East-Hampton native, Dylan comes from a long line of notable East-End seafarers. Dylan’s Grandfather, the late Frank Mundus, was a legendary Shark Fisherman (and the inspiration for the character “Captain Quint” in Jaws). While we often call out Dylan our “should be shark expert,” his true outside expertise and talents lie in music and teaching. When not sailing with SailHamptons, Dylan is a teacher in East Hampton, a devoted husband and father, and Singer in the Real East End Brass Band (REEB).

Breanna Brown is Lead Mate/Steward on Luna and Lead Steward on Soleil. Not new to hospitality, Breanna grew up in a restaurant family. New to high-end yachting and based in Miami in 2021, Breanna came to the Hamptons on the off season to continue in the industry. She landed at SailHamptons and we’re happy she did! Wonderful with guests and always fun, Breanna is a master at keeping our catering perfectly straight, keeping expectations met, and making sure the hospitality ends runs smooth as silk. Breanna also has the hugely important task of making sure the crew knows of the latest must have music.

Coverdog, Bamboo, Hamptons Dog Magazine

Our boat dog, mascot, queen, and ambassador “Bamboo” was born in Puerto Rico somewhere and sometime about 13-years ago (we don’t really know). Adopted as a “Coconut Retriever” in St John, USVI, Bamboo has sailed by Toby’s side in the Hamptons and throughout the Caribbean for over 9-years and over 50,000 nautical miles. She loves Charcuterie and and running on the beach. Bamboo was the cover-dog for Hamptons Dog Magazine in 2016. Bamboo has her own Instagram: @boatdogbamboo. When not joining the crew, Bamboo can often be found on her leash sniffing her way through Sag Harbor, spending a sunny morning on the back deck of Marie Eiffel in Shelter Island, or playing with other dogs on Haven’s Beach.
