SailHamptons is curated by Captain Toby Stull, who has been providing exceptional sailing charters throughout the East End since 2009. Our team comprises extraordinary group of highly experienced and dedicated yachting and service professionals.
Outside yachting experience, our crew also holds extensive hospitality experience. We have bartenders, wait staff, stewards and chefs within our ranks. We pride ourselves on being the most fun, professional and dedicated crew. We are always focused on making every charter outstanding for our guests.
Our crew each submit to a US Coast Guard compliant drug testing program and practice regular safety drills aboard all vessels.
Captain Toby Stull is the Proprietor of SailHamptons and Lead Captain. Toby started sailing before he could walk and has worked aboard boats throughout his life. Growing up on the Eastern Connecticut Shoreline, Toby started sailing in the East End with family during his youth. He started chartering his own boat from Sag Harbor in 2009.
Besides holding his 100 ton Master Captain’s license, and several professional maritime endorsements, Toby graduated Cum Laude from Boston University School of Law. He practiced in maritime related litigation for over a decade. In 2014, Toby left his legal career as he was making partner in a Manhattan Law Firm. He left to focus full-time on his sailing and entrepreneurial passions. Every year since, Toby migrates to the Eastern Caribbean each winter to Charter his 57′ French Sailing Yacht “Starlight.” The winter operations base in the Virgin Islands, but have included the French West Indies, Grenadines, and Lesser Antilles.

We are elated to announce that 2025 brings SailHamptons a wonderful and sweet new boat dog. “Grace” is a puppy from Tortola that Captain Toby rescued in March of 2025. Grace is a beautiful and strong puppy. Our little “Coconut Retriever” is friendly, excited about everything, and energetic (sometimes overly energetic). She follows Toby everywhere and can be found on nearly every Luna and Starlight charter Toby captains.
