Our meticulously maintained and continuously updated 36′ Hinckley Picnic Boat “Soleil” is available for bespoke luxury charters throughout the East End. Soliel is perfect for a tour around Shelter Island, an evening cruise, a restaurant trip or to take the family swimming. She boasts wonderful spacious accommodations with lounging in both sun and shade, and fantastic modern features. With a depth of less than two-feet and a powerful turbo-diesel jet propulsion system, Soleil can get us wherever we want to be quickly, reliably, and with incomparable style.
The Hinckley Company set the standard for American Luxury Yachts with the introduction of the innovative Picnic Boat first in 1995. That introduction of this groundbreaking yet classic yacht design saved the then seventy-year-old custom luxury yacht builder from imminent demise. The marriage of her powerful turbo-diesel with a Rolls Royce digitally automated jet propulsion system remains unmatched for performance and maneuverability by any other yacht in her class today. A decade later, with the evolution of the Picnic Boat and the creation of the Extended Pilot House (“EP”) version, Hinckley perfected its Picnic Boat design . Hand crafted in Maine and trimmed with finest solid teak available, our EP picnic boat is spacious, pampering, and fun. Whether used as a luxury shuttle to your favorite destination or as the destination herself for a lovely cruise and a swim, Soleil is epitome fast, luxurious, and reliable cruising.
We specially selected the “Extended Pilothouse” variation of the Picnic Boat for its exceptional versatility for our guests, seating areas providing both sun and shade, a spacious dining table, integrated coolers and wet-bar, and many great convenience options.
